Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Production Line Operator for our Manchester Dairy site. The role focuses on delivering the daily production plan, maintaining quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced dairy environment.

You will work within a team to uphold food safety standards, health and safety procedures, and company policies while contributing to waste reduction and efficiency improvements across the production line.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene preferred.
• Experience with temperature controlled FMCG operations.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience working to Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, hygiene procedures and company policies.
• Promote company values and standards.
• Participate in training to improve working practices.
• Be accountable for performance measures within your control.
• Work with the team to identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
• Help deliver initiatives to reduce waste and optimise production.
• Maintain safety and equipment, and escalate issues to the Team Leader.
• Follow quality system controls to maintain product integrity.
• Support site improvement projects and 5S practices.
• Contribute to production performance targets and audits.
