Job summary

Lidl GB in London is seeking a Customer Assistant to join our retail team. You will help keep the store clean, well-stocked, and ready before opening, including night shifts and unloading deliveries. This role rewards reliability with bank holiday pay uplift and nights allowance.

You’ll contribute to a friendly, efficient store environment and participate in creating a safe, welcoming shopping experience for customers every day.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail when working quickly.
• Ability to react positively to changing priorities.
• Self-motivation to work hard and do everything to the best of your ability.
• Drive to work hard and contribute to your store's success.
• Ideally, previous experience working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Precisely unpack deliveries through the night during the week and weekends.
• Make sure all access areas are clear for our drivers.
• Keep the store spick and span – both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
• Help organise specific areas for promotions and special offers.
• Independently carry out regular freshness checks and rotate stock.
