Job summary

Workchain seeks an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a night-shift role in Severn Beach. You will operate a forklift, load/unload vehicles, and manage stock in a busy distribution site.

The role requires a current forklift qualification, warehouse experience, and a reliable, safety-focused approach. Night shifts and UK distribution experience are assets; permanent employment offered.

Qualifications

• Current counterbalance forklift qualification.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Good understanding of safe forklift operation and manual handling.
• Able to follow instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
• Reliable attendance and responsible approach to work.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move, store and position stock within the warehouse.
• Complete routine forklift checks and report issues.
• Check goods and paperwork for accuracy.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and secure working area.
• Support the wider warehouse team as required.
