Job summary

Workchain in Patchway is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver – Counterbalance for a permanent daytime role. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and move materials, and keep stock accurately arranged on site.

You must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence, a strong safety mindset, and good teamwork and communication to meet daily site requirements. This is a permanent day shift with pay of £15 per hour, and a supportive local employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• A valid counterbalance forklift licence or certificate
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety
• Ability to move materials carefully and accurately
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to work
• Physical ability to carry out the requirements of a warehouse or yard-based role

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load, unload and move materials around the site
• Position stock accurately in designated areas
• Support goods-in and goods-out activities
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any issues
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a tidy working area
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to meet daily operational requirements
