Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting a Vehicle Preparation Operative (VPO Driver) for our Thorne site near Doncaster. This full-time role involves moving vehicles around a large automotive compound, preparing them for photography and inspection, and supporting refurbishment and logistics operations.

You will drive a range of vehicles, use handheld scanners to log movements, and follow site health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence with at least 2 years' experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Own transport to travel to the site.
• Physically fit for outdoor, active work.
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including automatic and electric cars.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles safely around the compound.
• Transport vehicles between locations on site.
• Use handheld scanners to log vehicle movements and updates.
• Prepare vehicles for photography and inspection.
• Pull vehicles into loading and photography areas.
• Battery charging of vehicles as required.
