Job summary

Actio Recruitment is recruiting for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator on the night shift in Bradford. The role involves setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components per drawings, with in-process inspection and tool/offset adjustments.

The ideal candidate will have experience with tight tolerances, read engineering drawings, and use precision measuring equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards on a permanent night shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings.
• Carry out in-process inspection using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Make tool and offset adjustments as required.
• Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
