Job summary

Moog Aircraft Group is seeking an apprentice-trained, experienced Manual/CNC Grinder to join our Wolverhampton facility. You will work on high-precision grinding tasks, including manual land grinding and CNC operations, supporting aerospace projects.

The role demands close tolerance work, experience with Studer machines, and the ability to inspect parts and maintain quality records. Night shift with a substantial allowance applies.

Qualifications

Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
Mate grinding experience required.
Experience in engineering/manufacturing roles, preferably aerospace.
Good knowledge of machining techniques and tooling.

Responsibilities

Operate and set Manual Studer S20/RM250 machines.
Operate and set CNC Studer S33/S31 machines.
Machining of exotic and hardened materials.
Carry out first-off inspection and document quality records.
Perform precision manual grinding to tight tolerances (0.00005 inches).
Set up and run multiple machines and processes.
Night shift with shift allowance.
