Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a skilled Machinist for night shift to set and operate multi-axis CNC machines, producing high-precision components used in performance racing. You will read engineering drawings, program on-line, maintain tooling and inspection records, and work within a skilled team to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will bring proven CNC experience, a Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Proven experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machining centres (milling).
Online CNC programming experience and understanding of machining processes.
Experience with quality standards, inspection techniques and right-first-time manufacturing.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced high-performance environment.
Strong communication and team-working skills.

Responsibilities

Set and operate multi-axis CNC machining centres to manufacture high-precision components.
Produce parts from engineering drawings and job packs, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
Carry out online programming and maintain tooling, programs and inspection records.
Inspect components to ensure right-first-time quality standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve methods and productivity.
