Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Machinist (Night Shift) to manufacture precision components for high-performance racing. You will set and operate multi-axis CNC machines, interpret engineering drawings, and program tooling to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role calls for proven CNC experience, especially on multi-axis centres, plus Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent. You will work nights within a skilled manufacturing team focused on continuous improvement and delivering top performance.

As an Machinist (Night Shift), you will manufacture precision-engineered components that support the performance of McLaren Racing. Working within a skilled machining team, you will set and operate multi-axis CNC machines to deliver high-quality components safely, accurately, and on time during the night shift operation.

What You'll Do

• Carry out online programming and maintain tooling, program, and inspection records.

• Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve machining methods, productivity, and performance.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machining centres, with milling experience.
• Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent, with proven CNC machining experience.
• Strong experience setting and operating multi-axis machining centres.
• Experience producing precision components in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
• Online CNC programming capability and a strong understanding of machining processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, and inspection techniques.
