Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking a driver for night shifts in Sheffield (S9), handling palletised goods and delivering to sub depots. You will emphasize safe driving practices, complete multiple runs per day, and assist with loading using tail lifts and pump trucks.

The role requires a full UK licence (Class 1 or 2), valid DCPC, a clean licence, and strong communication skills. This is an ongoing position with potential temp-to-perm progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Good understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Emphasising safe driving practices and precise documentation.
• Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average day.
• Assist with loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Engage with customers professionally on behalf of the company.
