Job summary

EVRi Barnsley is recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) drivers. Roles are available as full time or part time with start times from 11pm to 1am. You will trunk between depots with no multidrop, reversing in yards with precision, and perform pre/post-trip checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.

Requirements include a full UK licence with C+E (where applicable), DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and under 6 points. Assessments cover theory and practical driving tasks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement or Class 2 equivalent.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card holder.
• No more than six points on licence; minor offences only.

Responsibilities

• Trunking, long distance driving between depots; no multidrop.
• Reverse in yard and manoeuvre vehicles with precision.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies for safety.
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
