Job summary

CEVA Logistics UK&I is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join the team at Moreton on Lugg. You will work a 48‑hour week Sunday to Thursday, with a night shift from 6:30pm to 4am and an unsocial premium for working 8pm–6am.

The salary base is £39,062.40 per year, plus an hourly night premium. You will trunk deliveries, provide a professional service to clients, and ensure safety and compliance with transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an in-date Category C+E (Class 1) license.
• Must be willing to cover day shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out trunking duties from the out base to Runcorn to collect products for the following day’s deliveries.
• Providing a professional driving service that meets and exceeds client expectations.
• Ensuring all driving and transport activities are carried out safely and in line with policies and current legislation.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks before operation and reporting defects.
• Completing all required documentation and system transactions accurately.
• Covering the day shift when the day driver is on annual leave.
