Job summary

EVRi International is seeking an experienced HGV Driver - Class 1 in Lincoln. You will join a premier parcel delivery network, driving a modern Volvo fleet across a standard 45-hour week with set night shifts. Expect home time after each 9-hour shift and a structured schedule.

Role includes trunking to regional hubs, scan tasks, occasional loading, and daily vehicle inspections. A strong knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving is essential.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving licence is mandatory.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Completed DCPC training or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from a Volvo fleet (newer than 4 years).
• Trunk loads to regional hubs on the night shift.
• Plan routes and manage own daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Occasionally load/unload, scan consignments and operate pallet trucks.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily; raise a Defect Report when needed.
