Bupa in Wales, Cardiff is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts at Heol Don Care Home. You will lead the night team, support with clinical duties, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards NVQ3 in care.
• Motivated and positive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a senior care role is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
• Support clinicians with observation, medication, and care plan reviews.
• Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers.
• Assist with training and supervision of new staff.
• Build relationships with residents and families and external teams.
• Assist residents with personal care duties.
