Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Care Co-ordinator for a night-shift role in a distinguished Norwich-area care home. The post requires an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and involves ensuring high-quality resident care and wellbeing in the absence of the manager.

You will lead a care team, supervise staff, and manage care plans, shifts, and medication administration, with excellent induction and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• This role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Experience supervising a care team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maintain the personal care of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence
• Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high quality standard
• Assist in the care of the residents physical environment and in the general day-to-day activities of the home
• Assume responsibility for the running of the home and for the wellbeing of staff and residents in the absence of the homes Manager
• Organising shifts, administering and recording medication, liaising with health professionals and recording to residents' computerised care plans
• Assist with the induction, training and supervision of support staff
• Assist residents who have limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided
