Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust in Maidstone is seeking an Out of Hours Bed Manager to oversee urgent admissions to Acute Psychiatric beds across Kent and Medway, with a night shift pattern from 8pm to 8:30am.

You will coordinate safe, timely bed allocations, work with the UECCC and a broad network of community and hospital colleagues, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality patient flow.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating urgent admissions in NHS or acute care settings.
• Ability to work nights and provide calm, clear communication.
