Alexander Steele Recruitment are partnering with a leading food manufacturer in West Yorkshire to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain production equipment, drive improvements in reliability, and minimise downtime in a busy manufacturing environment.

The role includes PPM and reactive maintenance, night shifts (4 on 4 off, 6pm–6am), and a focus on continuous improvement to support production targets. CMMS proficiency and strong fault-finding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or production.
• Strong electrical or mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with industrial production machinery maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance documentation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Identify recurring equipment failures and implement improvements.
• Undertake root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent repeat failures.
• Support production with machine changeovers and adjustments.
• Record maintenance activities and downtime in CMMS.
