Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to provide high quality, individualised care during night hours. You will lead and supervise the night shift, ensuring privacy, dignity and independence for residents, and work closely with the team to maintain a warm, caring atmosphere.

Essential experience includes at least 2 years as a Care Assistant in residential care and completion of L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
• Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• A compassionate and caring nature.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff.
• A flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift and supervise team members.
• Provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents at night.
• Carry out detailed handovers to the morning team.
• Promote each person’s privacy, dignity and independence.
