Hartford Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to support residents overnight, ensuring safety, comfort and wellbeing. You will work with the night team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care reviews and clear handovers.

In this role, you will supervise staff, administer medications as prescribed, follow care plans and respond to emergencies with calm professionalism, always upholding residents' dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility) at night.
• Supervise and support care staff during night shifts.
• Administer medication per prescriptions and policies.
• Conduct regular night checks and monitor residents' health.
• Follow individual care plans and report changes.
• Respond to emergencies, falls and safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate care records, medication charts and daily reports.
• Ensure infection control and health and safety procedures.
• Promote dignity, privacy, independence and choice.
• Communicate effectively and handover to day staff.
