Job summary

Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Team Leader to oversee operations at a corporate site in London (EC2R 7HJ). The role requires supervising a security team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and enforcing robust security procedures.

Strong communication, IT proficiency, and professional presentation are essential. Role involves leading staff, visitors, and contractors, managing incidents, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• CCTV Licence required.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership security role (min 1 year).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate security.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional attitude and presentation.
• Ability to produce clear verbal and written reports.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a security team.
• 5-year checkable work history.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Lead and support on-site security team and ensure procedures are followed.
• Ensure clear, accurate information is provided in person, by phone or email.
• Manage and escalate incidents to management as required.
• Maintain a professional presence and set team standards.
• Respond to emergencies effectively and handle conflicts confidently.
• Oversee incident reports and access control.
• Monitor Health & Safety risks and maintain vigilance.
