Job summary

A leading supported living organization in Saffron Walden is seeking a Night Concierge for 30 hours per week. In this role, you will manage customer queries, help individuals develop life skills, and ensure safety and security at the facility. The ideal candidate should have experience with vulnerable populations and excellent IT skills. Qualifications

  • Experience of working with young people or vulnerable adults, or individuals with mental health needs.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
  • Confident in using IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries.
  • Develop relationships with customers to aid their life skills.
  • Organize and run social activities when required.
  • Ensure security and health and safety checks are maintained.

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Night Concierge at our Homelessness Scheme at Bromfield House, Saffron Walden.

The role of Night Concierge will include:
  • Being a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries
  • Developing good relationships with customers, helping them develop life skills
  • Handling occasional emergency/challenging situations
  • Going above and beyond to ensure an excellent service is provided to our customers
  • Occasionally organising and running social activities
  • Some health and safety responsibilities e.g. fire safety checks
  • Ensuring the security of the service is maintained
  • Writing and updating customer notes
  • This role will require lone working role for the majority of the shift
Skills and experiences:
  • Experience of working with young people or vulnerable adults, people with mental health needs or substance misuse
  • Previous experience working under challenging circumstances
  • Ability to use IT systems confidently
