A Safety and Security Assistant is required to join our team in Wembley.
This is a night-shift role with a shift pattern of 4 nights on and 4 nights off, the shifts are 12 hours long and fall between the hours of 8pm-8am. We do require some flexibility for overtime.
A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
WHAT THE SAFETY AND SECURITY ASSISTANT JOB INVOLVES:
The Safety and Security Assistant role is varied and challenging where no one day is the same. You`ll be working within a friendly and supportive team and playing a vital role in ensuring that students living in our properties have a great experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Making regular patrols across multiple sites to provide safety and security support
Identifying, reacting, reporting and escalating emergency situations, providing handovers and debriefs to relevant departments
Handling any complaints, issues or incidents with the appropriate level of involvement from the emergency services
Completing Health and Safety Audits and Fire Safety checks
Identifying and resolving safety hazards and risks and responding to alarm activations
Following customer management protocols when dealing with behaviour and wellbeing issues
Undertaking administration duties including completing incident logs
Providing reception support and customer service
Maintaining positive community relationships with Neighbours, local communities and local authorities

The ability to work at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
