Medivet Watford 24 is a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital providing emergency, critical care, and inpatient services. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the night team, supporting overnight emergencies and inpatient care.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in emergency/hospital practice desirable but not essential.
• Calm, organised and able to work independently overnight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of inpatient nursing care to medical, surgical and critical care patients.
• Monitor and manage hospitalised patients during the night and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist veterinary surgeons with emergency consultations, diagnostics and procedures.
• Administer medications, IV fluids and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and handovers.
• Ensure hygiene and infection control standards.
