Job summary

Medivet Beckenham 24 is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our experienced night team in delivering overnight patient care and supporting emergency consultations.

The role focuses on triaging emergencies, assisting with surgeries, and maintaining high standards of care while the hospital operates after hours, with 7 nights on 14 nights off and a salary package including annual leave, bank holidays and CPD.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Experience in emergency and critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Surgeon with managing inpatients overnight.

Job description

You will work alongside a Veterinary Surgeon and a night VCA with support when required from on call colleagues.

Part time working 7 on 14 off, 28 average weekly hours. Annual leave, bank holidays and CPD days paid into an annualised compensation package on top of salary. As an night RVN you will be assist the Veterinary Surgeon with managing and supporting inpatients overnight, triaging emergency phone calls and consultations, assisting with emergency surgeries overnight along with delivering exceptional care always there to our clients and patience whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. You will work alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, and another RVN with support when required from on call colleagues.

Working 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding overnight patient care, supporting emergency consultations, and ensuring the smooth running of the hospital during out-of-hours periods.
