Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Heathside and The Mews in Penketh, Warrington. You will provide compassionate personal care, support residents with daily activities, and help create a safe, respectful environment.

We are looking for individuals with at least 2 years in care, a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience, and leadership qualities to supervise shifts and guide colleagues.

• An effective leader that can demonstrate the values of the organisation at all times.
• Ability to lead a shift and supervise other colleagues.
• Someone who is flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and support to residents.
• Support Senior Supervisor and act as a senior figure to colleagues.
• Maintain a person-centered approach and foster a warm, respectful environment.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents during daily activities.

• Hours:24-36 hours per week
• This role is open to Female applicants only as requested by our female residents to ensure the comfort and dignity who require personal care

In this role, you will work closely with and provide key support to the Senior Supervisor. Your days are as varied as the individuals you care for. From providing hands-on assistance to stepping up in a supervisory capacity, your adaptability will shine. Your person-centered approach ensures that every individual receives the specialised care they deserve, tailored to their unique needs. You'll be a senior figure to your colleagues, offering leadership and support while fostering a warm and respectful environment. With effective communication and a passion for making a difference, you'll be an integral part of our mission to create a caring community that celebrates growth and independence.
