Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a part-time Supermarket Assistant for 26 hours across seven days, including weekends, with shifts between 00:00 and 07:00. You will help keep shelves stocked, fulfill online orders, and support the store team to deliver excellent customer service.

We welcome flexible working where possible, and some roles may involve vetting; DBS checks may be required. You’ll join a Partner-led, customer-focused team at Waitrose, part of the UK’s largest employee-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online orders for driver delivery.
• Reducing wastage by following sell-by dates and markdowns.
• Supporting checkout, Click & Collect, and other store tasks as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and compliant working environment.
