Job summary

John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose in the UK is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and passion for food to every customer visit. You’ll keep shelves stocked, fulfill online orders, and support the store team to run efficiently.

Working 30 hours per week, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights 22:00–06:00, you’ll bring a friendly approach and teamwork to our busy branch. DBS checks may apply during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly positioned.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and sell-by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
