Job summary

WHSmith Travel is hiring a Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service in our airport store. You will work 20 hours per week, including 3 nights out of 7 (11:00pm–6:00am) with Sunday coverage, and you can work independently or as part of a team.

As part of our stores, you will handle stock replenishment, maintain tidy displays, and support colleagues while helping customers find what they need. We value reliability and strong team collaboration.

Job description

As a Sales Assistant you'll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.

The position is for 20 hours per week, working 3 nights out of 7 which will include Sunday. 11.00pm-6.00am.

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references - to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years' worth of either employment or education references without any gaps
• Criminal Records Bureau Check - to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
• Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
