Job summary

John Lewis plc in Monmouth is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and a passion for food. You will help stock shelves, fulfill online orders, and support the team to keep shopping experiences smooth and memorable.

The role is permanent with part-time hours (16.5 per week) across seven days, including early starts, nights, and weekends. A night premium of £3.75 per hour applies 22:00–06:00.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to work effectively with customers and team.
• Experience in a customer facing role is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfilling online orders for driver delivery.
• Reduce wastage through due diligence and date checks.
• Support wider shop team including checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
