Job summary

Brunelcare in Bristol is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our warm, patient‑focused home across two sites. The role offers flexible bank shifts to fit your life, with opportunities to lead a caring team and uphold high clinical standards.

You will provide wound care, med administration, and tailored care plans while supporting residents to maintain independence and dignity in a homely setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Experience in elderly care and dementia
• Ability to lead a care team and deliver person-centred care

Responsibilities

• Deliver outcome-focused care to help residents stay as independent as possible.
• Promote high health and social care standards in the home.
• Work with staff to create a homely, person-centred environment.
• Motivate and lead the team while maintaining professional care at all times.
• Manage medications, wound care, long-term conditions, end-of-life and dementia care.

• Deliver outcome-focused care and support to help people make the most of their lives and remain as independent as possible.
• To demonstrate, promote, and ensure high health and social care standards for the people living in the home.
• To work with the staff team to provide a homely and person centred environment for people living in the home.
• To motivate and lead the team.
• Maintain a professional, kind, caring, and compassionate approach daily.
• Work within the expectations of a care environment based upon individualised care focusing on the physical and social well-being of the people in the home.
• Medication, wound care, long term condition management, end of life care and dementia specialist care.
