Job summary

Travelodge Sittingbourne is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help prepare the hotel for the next day. The role may involve walking the corridors, handling noise issues, and supporting breakfast service at times.

No prior experience is required as Travelodge offers coaching and training. A friendly, family-feel team and flexible working arrangements help you balance work with life.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in at the hotel reception.
• Walk the corridors to ensure guests are comfortable and secure.
• Handle noise complaints and evictions as required.
• Prepare the hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolleys.
• Assist with breakfast setup and service when needed.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar and support the team during busy periods.

Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times
