Job summary

Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin in Winchester is seeking a Night Porter to oversee hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. You’ll manage the night Food & Beverage, welcome guests, keep public areas immaculate, and prep spaces for the next day.

The role requires Night shift experience, strong organisation and communication, and flexibility across evenings/weekends. Training and development opportunities and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential and night shift work is required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations from sundown to sunrise.
• Manage the Night Porter duties for the Food & Beverage department during the night.
• Keep public areas immaculate and prepare meeting/event spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage and inquiries; conduct nightly Health & Safety audits.
• Ensure guest expectations are met and brand standards are maintained.
