Job summary

De Vere Beaumont Estate in Reading is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard guests and the hotel between 10.30pm and 7am, five nights a week. You will conduct checks, walk rounds and ensure safety, cleanliness and guest wellbeing, with support from the nights and events teams.

You may also help set up conference rooms and coffee stations. We offer £13.16 per hour plus benefits including free meals on duty and use of the Leisure Club facilities, plus career progression opportunities and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service roles, especially at night.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work night hours and handle responsibility for guest safety.

Responsibilities

• Look after guests and the hotel during night hours (10:30pm–7:00am).
• Carry out regular checks and walk rounds to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with setting up conference rooms and coffee stations when required.

Job description

Are you looking for a Nights role? Do you have customer service experience?

As a Night Porter you will look after our guests and the Hotel between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week. You’ll carry out regular checks and walk rounds of all areas of the building, taking appropriate actions to ensure standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained. You may also assist with setting up conference meeting rooms and coffee stations.

You will be on duty with at least one other member of the Nights team and our events team members will often be on site until the early hours of the morning when we have weddings/events taking place.

In return this role offers
