Job summary

Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels in Scotland is looking for a friendly Night Porter to join our busy team on the night shift. You’ll help maintain security, cleanliness and guest satisfaction while delivering warm, personal service.

You'll assist with luggage, conference setup, snow clearing and other night-time duties. A clean driving license (over 21) and a flexible, team-focused approach are essential for thriving in our welcoming, live-in accommodation environment.

• Previous porter experience and willingness to work night shifts.
• Good listening skills and ability to respond to guest needs.
• Team-oriented and flexible with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security, cleanliness and guest satisfaction during the night shift.
• Deliver exceptional service, assist with luggage and conference setup for the next day.
• Coordinate snow clearance and other night-time tasks; engage with guests to enhance their stay.

In the heart of Scotland, we’re set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure center, horse-riding center and our famously exciting Action Glen. There really is something for everyone!

About the role

You’ll be part of our busy team of Porters - responsible for maintaining security, cleanliness and customer satisfaction during the night shift.

You’ll deliver exceptional customer service to all our guests. From carrying guests’ luggage to supporting with conference set up for the next day or clearing snow, no night shift will be the same.

Your friendly and engaging personality will immediately reassure our guests that they’re in safe hands. You’ll make lasting impressions, taking every possible opportunity to talk to our guests, share our story and enhance their experience.

As you'll drive our guests and team on and off the Estate, you'll be over 21 with a clean driver's licence.
