Job summary

Crowne Plaza Chester is seeking a Night Porter on an occasional, casual basis. The role involves assisting guests with luggage and travel needs, supporting the night operation with room amenities and meals, and ensuring guest safety and hotel readiness for the day ahead.

Flexibility to work varying shifts is essential, with activity peaking in evenings and weekends. The post offers opportunities for training via apprenticeships and a range of staff discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel front-of-house would be beneficial.

Are you a night owl?

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team.

Primarily you will be helping guests with their luggage and travel arrangements. You will also will support the night operation to meet guest requests which includes additional room amenities and serving Food and beverages.

The variety of this role need someone who can work calmly under pressure and be always vigilant to keep the hotel safe.

This role requires flexibility to adapt on shift and use initiative to prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
