Job summary

Crem Recruitment Ltd. is seeking Chill Picking Operatives to join a busy cold store warehouse on the outskirts of Newmarket. You will pick chilled products accurately and prepare customer orders for dispatch, using warehouse equipment safely.

The role involves 6:00pm–6:00am shifts on a 4 days on / 4 days off pattern, with pay at £15.17 per hour. Full training will be provided, and previous warehouse or order-picking experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse, picking or order-picking experience.
• Be comfortable working night shifts.
• Be physically fit, as the role involves being on your feet and handling products.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Be comfortable working in a chilled/cold store environment.
• Previous cold store experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Picking chilled products accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Using warehouse equipment safely.
• Checking products and quantities.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team.
