Job Title: Night Operations Support Officer (OSO)
Location: HMP Forest Bank
Contract Type: Full-time

Purpose of the Role:

The Night Operations Support Officer ensures the safety, security, and well-being of residents at HMP Forest Bank during night shifts. This role involves monitoring residents, supporting operational staff, responding to incidents, and maintaining security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Resident Safety: Conduct regular checks on residents, patrol key areas, and ensure a safe environment.

Administrative Support: Complete documentation, adhere to procedures, and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Incident Response: Act as the first responder to incidents, following established protocols.

Security Monitoring: Operate and monitor prison security systems.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and support the safety of the facility.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure compliance with night procedures and security systems.

Respond promptly to incidents and security concerns.

Maintain safety standards and assist with prisoner welfare.

Person Specification:

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable with lone working and managing tasks independently.

Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office.
