Job summary

Belong Village Wigan is seeking a Night Nurse to join our team. You will work across the village, delivering patient-centered care to older adults with a focus on clinical needs during night hours under the Village Nurse Manager.

Night Nurse - Belong Village Wigan - 24.5 hours

Candidates must have the right to live & work in the UK, a valid NMC PIN and be within commutable distance of Warrington. Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates that do not meet these criteria at this time.

• Pay rate £20.00 p/h to £40.00 p/h for bank holidays

What you will be doing. You’ll be working across our village with a warm, friendly team as a Night Nurse. Working in Belong Wigan you can make a real impact to the lives of older people; giving them the support to continue to live independently by providing excellent personal centred care. Under the guidance of the Village Nurse Manager, you will be a part of a dedicated team supporting residents with their night time needs with a particular focus on ensuring their clinical needs are met.

You will carry out a variety of duties including:

• Overseeing the health needs of all household customers and acting appropriately
• Medication management
• Maintaining written documentation, including risk assessments and life plans
• Supporting the team with personal care
• Contributing to clinical governance data and meetings
• Completion of relevant nursing audits
• Providing holistic End of Life Care

Full or Part time depending on experience and preference
