Job summary

The Night Nurse role is based in the Health in Justice team at Practice Plus Group, delivering nurse-led care in a multi-disciplinary environment. The post involves night shifts with a day shift on rotation for development and continuing professional development during the induction period.

You will undertake medication rounds, contribute to emergency response situations, and provide care that aims to prevent hospital admissions while working within a supportive MDT framework.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with adult scope (NMC).
• Experience in emergency response within healthcare settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to rotate to day shifts for development.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
• Deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group with MDT support.
• Provide evidence-based care, listen to patient feedback, and ensure care is personalised.
• Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference and promote best practice.
• Share knowledge to build strong multi-disciplinary teams and drive quality improvement.
