Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) for our nursing home in the UK on night shifts. You will lead shifts, manage medication administration, and develop personalised care plans for residents with dementia and complex needs.

The role focuses on compassionate, person-centred care and strong clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work to maintain high standards of safeguarding, infection control, and governance, while mentoring junior colleagues

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with UK NMC registration and PIN.
• Experience in nursing home settings with dementia and complex care.
• Ability to lead shifts and support safeguarding and governance.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications and care plans.
• Lead shifts as Nurse in Charge and ensure safe staffing.
• Provide physical, emotional and spiritual resident support.
• Maintain safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance.
• Collaborate with GPs and MDTs for coordinated care.
• Prepare MDT reports and mentor junior staff.
• Support residents with dementia and long-term conditions.
