Job summary

St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home, part of Jasmine Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Nurse for night shifts. You will work with the Home Manager and clinical lead to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents at St Andrew's in Sleaford.

Requirements include RGN/RMN/RNLD registration, at least 1 year in a nursing home, and ability to write Person-Centred Care Plans. The role is full-time nights with a 7pm–7am shift and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)).
Minimum of one year experience in nursing home setting.
Experience of writing Person-Centred Care Plans.
Residing within 30 minutes of the Home.
Leadership and people skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Time management and flexibility with working hours.
A caring and nurturing attitude.
Positive and enthusiastic outlook.
Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure high standards for residents.
Support carers to provide personal care and assist with daily activities (washing, dressing, eating).
Administer medication, update nursing care plans and keep daily records; complete mandatory training.
Promote residents’ choice, dignity and independence; assist with care-team management and care-plan updates.
