Job summary

EQ Care Group is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Acer Lodge in Blackburn. The role covers night shifts (8pm–8am) with up to 44 hours per week (bank hours available).

You will lead a team, ensure high-quality care, manage medication administration, and liaise with GPs and families to support residents. Salary is up to £54,751 per annum pro rata depending on experience; experience in dementia care is valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Pin.
• Experience in elderly care or dementia care is desirable.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Able to work 8pm–8am night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and hand over information at shift changes.
• Support residents daily and enable their preferences.
• Represent Acer Lodge professionally to residents, families, and visitors.
• Liaise with GPs and multidisciplinary teams to promote care quality.
• Perform duties assigned by the Home Manager to support the home.
