Job summary

EQ Care Group operates Acer Lodge, a 70-bed nursing and dementia specialist home in Blackburn. This bank Registered Nurse role offers flexible hours to cover annual leave and sickness, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your life balance while providing compassionate, personalised care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, liaising with GPs and MDTs, and ensuring high-quality care for residents. Valid NMC pin required and IT proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience within a similar environment desirable.
• Valid NMC Pin - no restrictions.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the management team and make sure that all relevant information is handed over at the change of shifts
• Ensure each person who lives in the home is supported, and enabled the person’s way – every day
• Represent the Acer Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• To liaise with people who live and work in the home along with, GPs’ and other multi-disciplinary team members to promote excellent care
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.
