Job summary

Brainkind in Horsham is seeking a Night Rehabilitation Support Worker to assist adults with brain injuries in a residential setting near Broadbridge Heath. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals and promote independence.

No prior care experience needed—full induction and specialist training are provided; enthusiasm and a passion for helping people are values. Driving license is required and there are both part-time and full-time shifts available.

Qualifications

• Have genuine empathy for our residents, with the positivity, patience and resilience to support them through the difficult times of their rehabilitation.
• Enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues.
• Have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
• Have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
• A manual Driving License is essential for this role.
• Must be able to administer medication, or be prepared to be trained in medication.
• Experience of supported living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to residents following individual plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
• Develop independent living skills: personal hygiene, meals, exercise, leisure activities, socialising.
• Follow training and coaching to support residents and the multidisciplinary team.
