Job summary

Brainkind is a charity delivering neurorehabilitation services in Llanelli. We are seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join Ty Aberdafen, a residential centre that supports adults with acquired brain injury.

You will work with the clinical team to deliver rehabilitation plans and assist residents with daily activities and social integration. Training and ongoing support are provided, with a focus on empathy, teamwork, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Empathy for residents and ability to support rehabilitation
• Teamwork orientation and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
• Good face-to-face communication and literacy skills
• Good time management and workload prioritisation

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of rehabilitation plans and therapy sessions alongside the onsite clinical team
• Support residents in participating in group sessions and activities
• Promote independence, socialisation and personal goals within the centre and local community
• Provide residential accommodation and personal care as part of a rehabilitation programme
