Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Dundee is seeking a Night Manager to oversee safety, security and guest service overnight.

You will conduct nightly audits, coordinate with the accounts team, and recruit, train and develop the Night team to uphold a first-class guest experience.

The role requires at least two years of management experience in a similar setting, a proactive mindset, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years management and leadership experience in a similar role.
• Strong sense of pro-activness and drive to exceed KPI targets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of guests and staff at night.
• Perform nightly audits and liaise with accounts for accuracy.
• Recruit, train and continually develop the Night team.
• Deliver first-class service and act as hotel ambassador.
• Conduct minimum of two security checks per shift with emphasis on fire safety.

A day in the life of…

As Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests and staff during the night and as an ambassador to the hotel, you will use your expertise to always deliver a first-class service to all guests. You will ensure a minimum of 2 security checks are carried out on each shift, with emphasis on fire safety and overall security of the building as well as conducting the nightly audit to close the day's business and liaise with the accounts team to ensure accuracy. You will also, recruit, train and continually develop the Night team to ensure we provide an exceptional guest experience.

Based in the Hampton by Hilton Dundee, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years management and leadership experience working in a similar role. You will also have the a strong sense of pro-activnes and the drive to exceed your set KPI's. You should also be able to display the following:
