Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling in Tipton is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a busy site. You will help ensure machinery and facilities remain safe, reliable and operational while working with maintenance and operations teams.

The role requires practical mechanical knowledge, a hands-on approach and the ability to respond quickly to issues in a heavy industrial recycling setting. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, engineering or mechanical role within heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine inspections of plant and equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain safety.
• Assist with maintenance of conveyors, balers, crushers and other recycling equipment.
