Job summary

Albert's Didsbury is seeking a Night Kitchen Porter to join our team and help keep the kitchen clean, orderly and well stocked for the next day’s service. Based in Didsbury, Manchester, you’ll work the night shift ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

You will wash, sanitise and store items, maintain equipment and assist with closing procedures. The role offers clear opportunities for progression as the company grows. Apply to join a dedicated team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised at the end of each shift, following established cleaning protocols.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are ready for use during the next service.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, including stovetops, ovens, grills, and prep stations.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed to prevent overflow and maintain a hygienic environment.
• Sweep and mop floors to eliminate spills and debris, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Support the closing procedures of the kitchen, including covering and storing food items properly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
• Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to the management team
