Job Title: Night Hygiene Team Leader

Location: Ebbw Vale, NP23 5SD

Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Salary: £11.68 per hour, 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5-on 2-off – weekends included, 9.30pm to 6.00am

Job Purpose:

The Team Leader is accountable for maintaining hygiene standards in their area and overseeing Hygiene Operatives. They manage and control factory cleaning activities to meet targets, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain hygiene, quality, and product safety standards to meet customer service and product integrity requirements.
• Deploy and motivate hygiene and line operatives to achieve standards in hygiene and safety.
• Coordinate labor resources efficiently to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Analyze and implement weekly deep clean plans and liaise with other Team Leaders and the Hygiene Manager.
• Manage the workforce to ensure all areas are cleaned each night.
• Uphold company policies, including discipline, communication, and industrial relations, to minimize staff turnover.
• Ensure safety standards are met; conduct daily safety audits.
• Report any issues affecting finances, security, or company reputation immediately to the Hygiene Manager.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Hygiene Manager.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in a food environment, specifically in hygiene.
