Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a Night Hygiene Operative to join our Hygiene team. You will be responsible for keeping the factory clean and safe for production and will complete daily paperwork.

Shifts run on a 3-week rotation: Week 1 4 days, Week 2 4 days with a Saturday, Week 3 5 days; hours from 21:40 to 07:40 (and Saturday 18:40-06:40). Perks include pension, wellbeing hub, cycle to work, and more.

Qualifications

• Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
• Understanding of Manual Handling and Working at height.
• Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.
• Hygiene experience advantageous, however not essential.

Responsibilities

• To take responsibility for the cleaning required to make things safe and healthy for the distribution to our customers.
• Various aspects will be involved including cleaning verification, equipment checks and PPE checks to make sure that everything they have is in the correct condition.
• There will also be a requirement for you to fill in the paperwork for the work you have completed for the day.
• Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs
